Expect and Attempt

“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes in me will do the same works I have done, and even greater works, because I am going to be with the Father.” – John 14:12 NLT

I am learning not to box God in. If His Word is TRUE, then what Yeshua (Jesus) said was true about us. We are to do GREATER. What was done on the cross was the ultimate compounding interest system to duplicate Himself on the Earth. Since Yeshua’s (Jesus) time was finite in physically reaching the world, He had a strategy to use His disciples to take the gospel throughout and become the imitators of the Messiah in word and deed. Thus, this strategy IS the ultimate missionary work in itself.

What He promised was something that we sometimes overlook: we forget that since we are to complete His ultimate mission, greater MUST be accomplished with power, authority, and love like never before. If He said it, it MUST be true. We are able to do not only the VERY SAME WORKS BUT to do GREATER works. Think about it. Think about ALL of the stories you have heard of what Yeshua (Jesus) did… and now think of YOU doing them yourself. Now…. think about what the GREATER works COULD be and know that God can do exceedingly abundantly above THAT.

Understand that we have yet to experience GREATER in its fullness. The truth of its existence is when we walk it out in faith to be the vessels to see it manifested. We have to understand that this is not because we are greater, but that Yeshua (Jesus) has transferred His Spirit to us to finish the work with the same POWER and AUTHORITY for His Kingdom on Earth. He SPOKE our call to do GREATER works. The Earth still yearns for the manifestation of the sons of God.

What part of your divine mission do you need to see greater in your life?

We are to EXPECT great things from God, but we MUST ATTEMPT (not only attempt be confidently DO) our call to believe in Yeshua (Jesus) and be the vessels in being the manifestation of His glory.

Personally, as I move towards being a missionary, I am looking forward to seeing God move in the lives of those I encounter on this mission trip. God only needs a willing vessel to have TRUST (FAITH) to see it happen.

God Bless.
