Being Brave

BRAVE.

Just thinking about that word had me wondering about the scope of how it can play my life personally. I just looked up the word BRAVE and it means (as an adjective) ready to face and endure danger or pain; showing courage.

I had to ponder on that for a moment. I am about to take a journey to a country that I was only on for a few days back in December, yet I am going back to help them. I realize that missionary work is NOT for everyone, yet someone has been called or needs to do the work. I have thought long and hard about areas where there is little electricity, water or technology, yet the people in those areas are still needed.

We sometimes think that if we give to large organizations, that the money will be dispersed to everyone and that every need is met. But how about the small villages, where you have to actually physically go there in order to provide them with help? How much trickles down to where they are in order to help those in need? Who will be brave enough to step out of their comfort zone and GO to reach them where they are? When we step out from the familiar, we learn to embrace God in an unfamiliar journey. I believe that this mission is bigger than what I can imagine, yet I am just stepping out there in faith to fulfill the call. Will you help me reach those who are in need, where I have to physically go to help? Please consider donating to this cause.
