I am learning that in order to do anything related to missionary work, you have to have a LOVE and PASSION for people. You start to learn that you must sacrifice your own agenda to fulfill a higher calling. Your dreams and visions will start to line up to what you have been ultimately called to do. Once you realize that it is the heart of the king that God moves upon, you start to act on His call in the same manner.

Listen, we have been called as a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people. What we do will not make sense to a lot of people, but when we have God on our side, we are never left alone nor forsaken. We start to analyze our motives and learn that some of what we have been doing has been self-serving. Once we learn that this life is bigger than us; and that it isn’t about us, but God’s purpose, we will be more apt to change and to be who we were called to be. It isn’t about our personal gain but the gain of a bigger purpose that one day we will understand the importance of our part of the puzzle. YES, it is a sacrifice, but it will be worth it!
