I would like to thank Bishop Spencer Riddick Jr. and Elder Mike Goodman for giving me the opportunity to speak about my upcoming missions trip at their church. In addition, I will be speaking about my personal experience on the journey to missionary work.
The Peacock Festival will have something for every age group and every interest! Vendors will vary from artisans of jewelry, photography, pottery, plants, hand spinning with fiber and demonstrations, bee keeping, iron work with a blacksmith demonstration, animal petting and teaching about Belted Galloway Cattle, American Alpine Dairy Goats, Hair sheep, Great Pyrenees dogs, Peacocks, guineas, chickens and last but not least, very friendly turkeys!
The food will range from gourmet to Americana. Wine tasting will accompany the fun as will local musicians. Children will be given the opportunity to feed and pet the animals!
Pre-purchase tickets will be $15 for adults who want to taste wine (including a Peacock Festival wine glass). Those who do not want to taste wine will pay $10 and children, under 13 are $5. Children age 5 and below are free! Parents with more than 2 children will pay $10 for the entire group of kids! Tickets bought at the gate are an additional $5 in every category.
