Mission 2027

Mission to Kenya 2027

Mission to Kenya 2027 builds upon the relationships, educational foundations, and lessons developed during my seven-week return to Kenya in 2026. What began through music education, teacher professional learning, digital literacy, ministry, and community engagement is now moving into its next stage.

The 2026 mission allowed me not only to serve, but also to listen and learn. I was able to see what educators were already building, observe how students responded to new opportunities, identify areas where additional support could strengthen existing programs, and begin developing resources that could continue being used after I returned home.

In 2027, the goal is to return with greater understanding of the previous mission, build upon the work already developing from our continued communication with me from the US, strengthen local educators and programs, and continue developing sustainable opportunities in education, music, technology, and creative learning.

Through this mission, I want to continue serving in ways that equip people rather than create Western financial dependence. Whether through teacher development, student learning, music education, technology integration, cultural exchange, or practical support, the purpose remains rooted in using what the LORD (Yahweh) has placed in my hands to serve others and demonstrate the love of Yeshua (Jesus) through both words and action.

Here is where you come in.

Your support is not just about donating money; it is about becoming part of something much bigger than yourself. It is about joining me and a growing community of believers who know that eternal impact requires earthly obedience and sacrificial giving.

When you give, you are helping to carry out the Great Commission in a new and practical way. You are making it possible to teach biblical truth, offer hope, and empower students and teachers with skills that transform their communities and futures. Together, we can combine faith, music, and technology to reach hearts, change lives, and build a legacy that honors the LORD for generations to come.

Together, We Can:

  • Advance Creative and Musical Development
Build upon existing music and creative arts instruction by helping students strengthen music literacy, instrumental technique, ensemble skills, creativity, and confidence through progressive learning experiences.
  • Develop Student Talent and Leadership
Work alongside educators to identify students demonstrating strong interest and provide opportunities for continued development, ensemble participation, peer leadership, and preparation for more advanced musical experiences.
  • Strengthen Educator Capacity
Continue the train-the-trainer approach by equipping educators with practical strategies, instructional resources, and hands-on experiences they can adapt and continue using with students after the mission concludes.
  • Advance Digital Literacy and Applied Technology Skills
Build upon foundational computer skills by helping students progressively develop keyboarding, navigation, digital responsibility, problem-solving, coding, physical computing, and other technology skills that support academic and future workforce readiness.
  • Integrate Technology Across Learning
Support educators in using computer-based tools, digital simulations, educational resources, and hands-on technology to strengthen instruction across subjects rather than treating technology as a separate learning experience.
  • Build Sustainable Educational Systems
Strengthen the programs, resources, procedures, and local leadership needed for music and technology education to continue growing between mission visits, with an emphasis on using existing resources effectively and identifying priorities for future development.
  • Preserve Culture Through Creative Exchange
Engage students, educators, ministry leaders, and community members in meaningful cultural exchange that creates opportunities to learn from Kenyan music, language, traditions, worship, and creative expression while sharing knowledge across cultures.
  • Listen, Assess, and Respond to Community Needs
Use observation, conversation, educator feedback, appropriate assessment when applicable, and continued relationship-building to better understand what is working, identify emerging needs, and guide future mission support without assuming what a school or community needs.

This is about more than just funding a project. It is about sowing into lives, cultures, and futures. It is about changing communities for generations to come. If your heart is stirring right now, that is not an accident. You are being invited into a story that is bigger than you or me, a story of impact, transformation, and hope.

Will you partner with me?

Your support, whether one-time or ongoing, makes all the difference in this mission. Together, we can help others grow, flourish, and experience the life-changing love of our Messiah. Thank you for standing with me. Thank you for believing in what God can do through ordinary people destined to change lives across the world.
