What I Found in Kisii: Service, Relationship, and a Deeper Understanding (Kenya – July/August 2026)

My final two weeks in Kenya brought opportunities to serve through ministry, music, education, and time with the children in Kisii. Some of the most meaningful parts of the experience came through the relationships that developed along the way and the people who welcomed me, taught me, and cared for me while I was serving them. I left Kisii with a deeper understanding of service, including what it means to receive from others as freely as I am willing to give.

Building Beyond the Visit: Equipping Teachers and Strengthening Digital Literacy in Kangemi (Kenya – June/July 2026)

During the summer of 2026, I worked alongside teachers and students at Grace Harvest Academy & Junior School in Kangemi, Kenya, to strengthen digital literacy through a train-the-trainer approach. What began with teacher professional learning and a 14-computer lab developed into curriculum resources, technology systems, and tools designed to help the work continue after I returned home.
